Introduction

Don was born on 16th August 1921, in Croydon, Sydney, New South Wales (N.S.W.). She was one of four siblings, including one who died soon after birth. Her father and mother were John Corrie Dymock and Millicent Smith. The Dymock family ancestors were originally from Edinburgh, Scotland and the Smith family were from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England.
